Healing and the price for forgiveness are closely intertwined in the Word of God. Forgiveness and healing are part of the full salvation package.
Healing is for you and me today in every area of our lives.
Isaiah 53:4-5 Amplified Bible (AMP)
But [in fact] He has borne our griefs,
And He has carried our sorrows and pains;
Yet we [ignorantly] assumed that He was stricken,
Struck down by God and degraded and humiliated [by Him].
But He was wounded for our transgressions,
He was crushed for our wickedness [our sin, our injustice, our wrongdoing];
The punishment [required] for our well-being fell on Him,
And by His stripes (wounds) we are healed.
When you were born again, you received the full salvation package. And you immediately received everything associated with it. If you do not immediately experience the manifestation of your healing, there is still hope.
Just as with a car battery whose receptacles have corroded, we have all these things that try to come in and corrode our receptacles–that try to keep us from receiving the healing of Jesus Christ. But we need to make sure that those receptacles are clean. And we can do that through receiving his forgiveness and forgiving others.
If you have a feeling of unworthiness, just remember that Jesus has borne (that is taken away) our punishment. He was wounded for our transgressions. Not only the sins we recognize, but even the deepest depth of iniquity that we cannot even recognize.
Many today are struggling to heal themselves from sicknesses and disease and mental dysfunctions. But I want to announce to you today good news that our part is to receive forgiveness from Jesus and to believe that we are forgiven every single day.
Psalm 103:1-3 Amplified Bible (AMP)
A Psalm of David.
103 Bless and affectionately praise the Lord, O my soul,
And all that is [deep] within me, bless His holy name.
Bless and affectionately praise the Lord, O my soul,
And do not forget any of His benefits;
Who forgives all your sins,
Who heals all your diseases;
