There are three compelling questions we each need to answer. What do you believe? What is the source of that which you believe? What is your method of confirming or reinforcing your belief? Your answers to these questions must be settled in your heart.
From John, the apostle of love, we have clear explanations of who knows God.
1 John 4:8 New King James Version (NKJV)
8 He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.
Love requires us to do some sacrificing. God did not send Jesus based on your response to him. God sent Jesus because he wanted people to know how much he loves us whether we respond to him or not. Love is not performance motivated. Love is action. Love is benevolent. Love is commitment. Love looks into the distance like looking through a telescope.
