Victory and Power in Prayer

Presented by: Pastor Vickie on October 15, 2017.

If you are born again, you can have victory and power in prayer – both you and your household.

Jeremiah 33:3 New King James Version (NKJV)

3 ‘Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’

God is attentive to the cries of the righteous.

Psalm 34:17 New King James Version (NKJV)

17 The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears,
And delivers them out of all their troubles.

The only prayer that God hears from an unsaved person is the humble prayer to become born again. If you give your life to Jesus and make him Lord of your life, then God will never turn you away. When you pray, you will be praying the prayer of the righteous.

There are several passages in the book of Job about how God treats the wicked.

Job 21:14-15 New King James Version (NKJV)

14 Yet they say to God, ‘Depart from us,
For we do not desire the knowledge of Your ways.
15 Who is the Almighty, that we should serve Him?
And what profit do we have if we pray to Him?’

Job 15:4 New King James Version (NKJV)

4 Yes, you cast off fear,
And restrain prayer before God.

Job 27:10 New King James Version (NKJV)

10 Will he delight himself in the Almighty?
Will he always call on God?

Job 27:8 New King James Version (NKJV)

8 For what is the hope of the hypocrite,
Though he may gain much,
If God takes away his life?

Although we live in evil times, we can always be praying for the lost people of the world.

When you are born again, you begin a process that influences the lives of your children. Your children are called holy and you are the key to their blessing.

Matthew 18:18 New King James Version (NKJV)

18 “Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.

This prayer is awesome. It releases angels to do God’s work when you pray. And it binds demons and destroys the purpose of the devil himself.
